Useful Network Discovery Tool

I was very happy to see the version 3 update this morning. The ability to scan multiple subnets is very useful. I noticed that MAC addresses were returned for local subnet only, but I think that probably has more to do with the filter rules on the layer 3 switch than it does with this app. I have a couple of similar apps that I use for scanning for network devices. I like this one for a quick scan due to it’s performance and simplicity. The export to text feature is useful for dumping to spreadsheet.

I glad to see this app is still in active development. Well worth the $6

*** Rating based on the spartan features of this app. A certain angry open source app has a better feature set, but does not scan as quickly as this one. If those other features (ping response time, open port checks, etc) were included here I would rate *****

I would still purchase this again, and recommend it.
